4th FAL Imaginary Map

The city of Porto Alegre is the organiser of the Forum of Local Authorities, now in its 4th year and held this time around in Barcelona.

Mayors and local governments from all around the world meet to debate and design the cities of the future on the basis of social inclusion and participation.

The graphic concept involves representing a city of cities. For this, each administration that participates in the FAL has its own street drawn on an imaginary map until a symbolic city is obtained.

A folding map was printed and inserted into the forum programme, like a real map. A large poster was also made for the entrance to the site.

The idea must have really appealed to someone, because the poster mysteriously disappeared from the area reserved for Mayors.
